About

GMAT® prep, rebuilt from the algorithm up.

Two founders, one belief: most GMAT prep tools are content libraries with a quiz wrapper. We started with the runtime — adaptive sampling, mastery analytics, pace targeting — and built the lessons to fit the platform, not the other way around.

Founders

Two people, one company.

Built from St. Gallen, Switzerland. No VC, no growth team, no growth hacks — just product and customers.

Builds the adaptive engine — the question-selection model, the mastery analytics, the pace targeting. Spends his days on the runtime that turns a question bank into a study path. Believes the right software is worth more than the right textbook.

Designs the way Brightroom teaches. Every Library lesson — the worked-example reveals, the trap maps, the inline checks that won’t let you skip ahead — runs through his pedagogical model first. Believes lessons should explain less and demonstrate more.

Mission

Make serious GMAT prep more accessible.

Strong GMAT preparation often comes at a steep price — premium self-paced courses, live programs, and private tutoring can each run into four figures. The test-takers who can afford them walk into test day with a structural advantage, and that advantage compounds into MBA admissions, into job offers, into life trajectories.

We don’t think it has to be that way. So we’re building a tool that gives every test-taker real algorithmic support, genuine depth in the lessons, and a tight feedback loop — without the premium price tag. Pro starts at $199 per month, billed monthly and cancellable anytime; longer prepaid terms and Ultra are available at checkout.

That’s the why.

Principles

How we build.

Four ideas we keep returning to when product decisions get hard.

01

Adaptive over curated

Your study path is generated from your live performance, not from a publisher's playlist. The engine picks per-attempt, weighted by mastery, weakness, and pace.

02

Visual over verbose

Concepts that animate, equations that reveal step-by-step, traps shown side-by-side with the right answer. We build for how brains actually retain information.

03

Software over scaffolding

Most prep is a textbook in HTML. We built the runtime first — adaptive sampling, mastery analytics, pacing — then layered content on top of it.

04

Outcomes over hours

The Ultra 715+ guarantee is an alignment mechanism, not a slogan. If you complete the program and don't reach 715, the remedy is six additional months of Brightroom access at no charge — not a cash refund. Full conditions live at the Guarantee Terms.

How it works

What Brightroom actually is.

Four parts of the product, described as design and method — not as claims about results.

  1. 01

An adaptive engine, not a static playlist

Brightroom is built on an item-response-theory model of computerized-adaptive testing. Each question we serve is chosen for your current estimated ability: get one right and the next is harder, miss one and it eases off, so the difficulty tracks where you actually are. The model targets your weakest areas first and keeps the work productive instead of busy.

  2. 02

A score predictor that is honest about being an estimate

From your in-app performance the engine produces an estimated score range — a model output, not a promise. It sharpens as you complete more questions and full-length sittings. We show it as a range and label it an estimate, because individual results vary and no prep tool can guarantee a number.

  3. 03

A Library that teaches intuition first

Lessons are interactive rather than read-only: concepts that animate, worked examples that reveal step by step, traps shown side by side with the right approach, and inline checks that confirm you understood before you move on. We build for how people actually retain ideas, not for page count.

  4. 04

An exam simulation built to feel like the real thing

The Mock Exam mirrors the GMAT Focus Edition experience — the interface, the section timing, and section-adaptive scoring — so test day is familiar rather than a surprise. Afterward, analytics break down pace and accuracy by topic so your next study block is pointed at what mattered.
